Join us for the return of this festive Mardi Gras event, filled with authentic libations, cuisine and entertainment to support music and its important role in education. All funds raised directly support the Music for Minors Fund-A-Need initiative to bring music to more local children.

Mark Inouye, San Francisco Symphony We hosted a private concert and reception on the evening of January 12th to honor all of our contributors who give so generously of their time, talents, and financial support. We are thrilled to announce that Mark Inouye, Principal Trumpet of the San Francisco Symphony, performed for this special appreciation event. Playing with Mark was the Jazz ConneXion, featuring Bill Hockett, John Sylvester, and Dale Nesbitt. It was a memorable evening of scintillating jazz and inspiring company.

Music for Minors Music Educators continue their education and refine their skills through ongoing workshops held regularly throughout the academic year.

Family Concerts

Dr. Noize for MFM
Early April 2011, award winning children's music performer, former Music for Minors student and Peninsula native, Doctor Noize, presented a rockin' program of high energy and great fun, with electronics, multiple instruments, live on the spot recordings, and exciting music.

Music for Minors and Music for Minors II presented Family Concerts with Red Grammer, one of the premier entertainers for children and families!
