In-School Docent Program:
Trained volunteers are placed in elementary schools throughout Santa Clara and San Mateo counties. Once in the classroom, these docents teach a minimum of one half-hour per classroom per week.

In-School Music For Learning Program:
In a collaboration with the Redwood City Educational Foundation, Music For Minors provides paid instructors to teach music in Redwood City schools.

After School Program:
MFM participates in a collaboration with the City of San Jose and the Office of Cultural Affairs for their After School program. Music For Minors instructors rotate among participating schools throughout the San Jose Unified School District. Children at each school site participate in 10-week sessions especially designed for this program.
A Latin American Music program is taught by Victor Hugo Santos. This program is designed to encourage children to learn about and appreciate the rich traditions of Latin American music and indigenous instruments, promoting cultural awareness. The children will sing, move, dance, laugh, and play instruments. Songs are sung in English and Spanish.

Roving Docent Program:
These docents visit schools during the year and introduce children to a variety of instruments. Roving Docents give presentations that focus on their particular speciality, such as a presentation on the physics behind instruments and acoustics called "Blow Bang & Twang".
